In cooperation with its partners, Gemius, the leader in the field of internet research in Europe, Middle East and North Africa, rolls up the sleeves to the next Internet CEE conference. Scheduled to take place between 16th and 17th May 2012 in Warsaw, Poland, the conference, just as it did in the previous years, will gather the key players of the regional online industry – this time under the 'Data connected' banner.

We have the pleasure to inform that Gemius and IAB Europe have already started their work on the next edition of the ‘Do You CEE?’ report, which has gained wide recognition on the internet market as a reliable, transparent and accurate source of data. This publication serves as a compendium of accessible knowledge on the internet industry in the CEE region. We are proud to present the second edition of one of the most prestigious Gemius projects – the “Do you CEE?” report. Prepared in cooperation with IAB Europe, this year’s report is a continuation of the highly successful study launched last year. The 2009 edition of the “Do you CEE?” report gained wide recognition as a reliable, transparent and accurate source of data and was extremely popular amidst internet industry specialists.

During the last days the short list of IAB Europe Research Awards finalists was announced. These prestigious prizes will be awarded during the upcoming Interact Congress in Barcelona, in the evening of the event’s first day, 8th June 2011. We are pleased to inform everyone interested that the common work of Gemius and IAB Europe, the regional knowledge compendium – the 2010 “Do you CEE” report – was chosen as one of six finalists in the category “Social Media”!

The CEE online market grew in 2010, in terms of the number of internet users and advertising spending, despite the global economic crisis, which was still noticeable in many countries and other industries. Gemius, the internet research leader, in its latest edition of the “Do You CEE?” report, takes a closer look at the 15 European countries, where the online sector is attaining an increasingly significant position within advertising budgets and communication strategies.
